SCHOOL CLOSURE HOMEWORK

Hi 6G,

Hope you all have a lovely week whether you are in school or at home. Remember if you have any questions email me at Y6T@pelsallvillage.co.uk

Baby photos

We are hoping to keep up our usual tradition of creating an end of year powerpoint which contains everyone in year 6s baby photos. We know that there are many things that we unfortunately can't do this year with the current situation but this is a tradition that we can uphold.

Can you please send a baby picture to the email address: Y6T@pelsallvillage.co.uk

Thank you smiley

Bethlyn in 6G has decided to raise money for charity by having her beautifully long hair cut and is donating it, along with all money raised to 'The Little Princess Trust'. This will help little girls who have undergone treatments for illnesses and will bring so much happiness.

If you would like to show your support to Bethlyn and help her raise money for this fantastic cause, donate to her Go Fund Me page by following the link below.

As a school, we are so proud of Bethlyn for doing this amazing selfless thing for others smiley

A message from Shire Oak

We are all looking forward to seeing you and your children when school starts again in September but, before then, we may have things we would like to contact you about – such as our second Day with a Difference. We have found that emails are a great way to contact groups of people. You may have completed and sent in our information packs which do contain your email addresses but we won’t be able to see those until September.

With this in mind, and only if you are agreeable, please could you follow the link to provide us with your email address on our 'New Y7 Pupil Area' on our website.

Shire Oak transition information

Shire Oak are cancelling all inductions, parents evenings and uniform sales.  They will be sending out a letter to all parents who have been allocated a place for September with all the details of their child’s form etc.

They are also putting all the information on their website and are updating this regularly.

For any children with additional needs or vulnerable children there will be an induction, and they will be in touch once this is arranged.

If you have any queries or questions they can contact Mrs Smith Pastoral Manager on 07877942193.

Brownhills

I have been informed that Brownhills school have a selection of transition activities for year 6 children on their website for any of you who are going in September.

Mrs Berry's group work - as above

Topic - This week, our topic activities focus around Benin. For the first activity, use the World timeline information to complete the template, the Benin timeline is a similar activity. Finally for Friday's task, use the story of Eweka and the cards to create a storyboard of the main story events. Have fun :)
