COVID 19 POETRY WRITING
In these challenging times, it's always nice to share some good ideas. Our Key worker children have been working together on some poems which we hope you will enjoy reading:
Coronavirus is horrible, I hate it,
It stops me from going anywhere!
But at school with my other new friends,
Playing football is the best end!
Now don't forget to wash your hands,
20 seconds won't let the virus land!
Thank you, thank you, thank you NHS,
You really are the best!
By Maisy Watts (Aged 8), Oscar Hicken (Aged 3)
Key workers are special, but we are too,
Katie the dog is sick, she's been like that for a week,
Katie's worried she's got COVID like a few,
Mom is a doctor, a cure she is trying hard to seek,
Oh no, however will she cope?
Just remember to wash your hands with soap!
By Lois Allsop (Aged 8), Mia Booker (Aged 4)
Daffodil the dog is worried about COVID 19,
Daffodil the dog is scared in case his friends get it,
Luckily, Daffodil's Mom is a nurse,
She is helping everyone defeat it!
By Mia Allsop (Aged 8), Lily-Rose Harris (Aged 5)
Our NHS people go to hospital to help those with the virus,
Our rainbows make us happy so we make a good fuss,
Coronavirus is so very scary,
It can spread fast and vary and vary,
You're meant to stay at home and wash your hands,
But not everyone does across our lands.
By Callum Glover (Aged 10, Jamie Green (Aged 5)
Coronoavirus is scary,
We all need to be wary,
Staying at home saves lives,
But not everyone listens, why?
Keeping safe makes sense,
Why are some people dense?
We just need to remember,
Washing our hands from now till to December,
Will help this nasty virus go away,
How we wish that would happen today!
