    MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING

Thank you so much to everyone who supported this event today - especially Year 6 children & staff for making sure that all the children were able to buy their  cakes this morning & Crystal Roe for her donation of 100 beautifully decorated cakes.

It was fantastic to see so many parents, governors & friends of Pelsall Village School - the specially flavoured Lattes seemed to go down a real treat & well done to Mr Steatham for making a special donation for the fantastic chocolate Malteaser cake we were lucky enough to be given.

We had so many donations, we are holding another cake sale on Monday 1st October 2018 at morning break in the Nurture Room.

So far we have raised £280.91 for what we hope you will agree is such a worthy cause.

  • WELCOME BACK!

    Mon 03 Sep 2018 Mrs S.Tuckwell-Allen

    WELCOME BACK!

Doesn't time fly? Already, there is a slight chill in the air and that early morning mist. Tuesday 4th September heralds the start of another academic year at Pelsall Village School. Thank you to everyone for looking so smart in their uniform. The Autumn term is always a great opportunity to start afresh, make new friends, do our best in new teams. We're sure this year will be just as busy as last but hopefully even more fun & successful!

Here's a little teaser in the meantime:

    DEAR STUDENTS

"Dear students, the summer has ended.
The school year at last has begun.
But this year is totally different.
I promise we’ll only have fun.
    surprise

    "We won’t study any mathematics,
and recess will last all day long.
Instead of the pledge of allegiance,
    we’ll belt out a rock-and-roll song.
    frown

"We’ll only play games in the classroom.
You’re welcome to bring in your toys.
It’s okay to run in the hallways.
It’s great if you make lots of noise.
    devil

"For homework, you’ll play your Nintendo.
You’ll have to watch lots of T.V.
For field trips we’ll go to the movies
and get lots of candy for free.
    cheeky

"The lunchroom will only serve chocolate
    and triple fudge sundaes supreme."
Yes, that’s what I heard from my teacher
before I woke up from my dream
    . cool
