  • Nectar Project - Time Capsule

Fri 27 May 2022 Sandra Lawton

Year 1/2 H had a lovely time today burying their time capsule in the area planned for the further development of our outdoor project. Other classes will do the same when we return after half term as part of the Jubilee Celebrations.
We now have just two weeks to continue to raise funds for this community project.

  • Nature Makers Club - Years 1,2 & 3

Fri 27 May 2022 Sandra Lawton

We will be opening a new outdoor club, which will be run by Becki from Nature Makers. She will would provide all eco-friendly and plastic free art and craft materials for the children to create up to 2 nature art and craft activities based on a particular nature theme each week. For example, one week might be about Trees, another on Hedgehogs.

The children would also learn some facts about that nature theme, so it's educational as well as being fun! She recommends children bring a change of suitable outdoor / messy play clothes to wear for the club as materials like paint and clay might be used some weeks.

The club will run every Wednesday starting on Wed 15 June and will run for 5 weeks. It will cost £5 per week = £25 for 5 weeks. There will be 15 places available, please book a place using sQuid.

    Thank you

  • Nectar Project Crowd Fundraising - Tote Bags

Wed 25 May 2022 Sandra Lawton

We now only have just over two weeks to raise the desired amount for our project. To help we are going to sell Class Tote Bags with the children's pictures on. They will cost £3 each and will be purchased via SQuid. Please see pictures of 1/2H as an example.

The key to receiving funding from businesses, foundations and grant makers is for them to see lots of donations from local residents. We are asking everyone if they could go to the Space hive Web page Crowd funding Page

and donate a small amount of say £2 and then also like the page. This way it can be seen that we are doing our very best to promote the project from within school.

We really do appreciate all of your support.

    Thank you
