Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
As you may be aware, in order to be able to swim 25 metres by the end of Key Stage 2, all children must be take part in statutory swimming lessons – this programme is delivered to our Year 5 children at Pelsall Village School and will supplemented by additional sessions in Year 6.
Therefore, the swimming lessons for all Year 5 children will start on Wednesday 7th September 2022 when we travel by coach to Oak Park Active Leisure Centre.
We will be registering the children at 8.25am in the Year 5 classes and leaving on the coach no later than 8.35am as the lesson starts promptly at 9.0aam and children will need time to change.
The Year 5 staff and I will also be present to ensure all children are safely prepared for these swimming lessons. Please click on the link to read the letter for more important information. Yr 5 Swimming Letter Sept 22
So you may remember last month the thousands of mysterious balloons that appeared on Pelsall Common. Well that day the balloons that popped we collected and made a piece of art out of them with the children from Pelsall Village School.
We hope to get it into Walsall Art Gallery and then the Manor Children’s Ward, we are hoping it will bring a little joy and positivity and it looks absolutely beautiful.
We are having a picnic in the meadow this Saturday at 11:30 at Pelsall Village School to celebrate hitting our fundraising target for the Nectar Room Project, you are welcome to come and see the balloon rainbow piece of art, as it will be on display this Saturday. There will also be free cakes and drinks and other surprises.
Looking forward to seeing you all.
