EASTER SERVICE
at Pelsall Evangelical Church
We will be holding this service at the church on Wednesday 1st April. Unfortunately, there is not enough capacity to invite parents, but we can keep you posted with photos later on.
We will also be announcing the winners of the Decorated Egg competition during the service.
TRAINING DAY
Thursday 2nd April will be the last day in school for the children - again, current circumstances permitting as Friday 3rd April is Staff Training Day.
Wishing you all a very safe and happy Easter
SPORTS RELIEF
Thank you to everyone who took part in Friday's Sports Relief Challenge. (13.3.20)
4 circuits of our new trail on the playing fields was the equivalent of walking 1 mile and despite the spring showers and varying temperatures, our children were robust athletes throughout and superstars!
We will let you know as soon as we have a final total of money raised - there is still time to pay your £1 - it's all for very good causes supported by the Sports Relief Charity.
Thank you once again!
Dear Parents/Carers
Following yesterday's announcement by Boris Johnson, we have been asked by Walsall LEA to report all absences due to suspected coronaviris infection on a daily basis. Therefore, if your child shows the symptoms (temp 37.8 and or a new persistent cough) can you please call the school office on 01922 682073 (NOT VIA FACEBOOK MESSAGE) and then, as requested by the government isolate your child for 7 days. Following this time they will be able to return to school.
In school we will be continuing as normal and have already discussed plans for children to be able to access school work should, in the coming days, the government move to the next step of closing schools.
We are continuing with our robust hand cleaning measures as explained last week.
Thank you for your support.
Mr G Bagley.
From today, 5 March, we will be making sure all children wash their hands preferably with warm water and soap or with Anti Bac gel at key points during the day.
On entering the school in a morning
After every toilet visit
After every break and Lunchtime
Before Lunchtime
After any sports activity.
