Keeping in Touch - Hello

Hello everyone. As we begin the first week of the Easter holidays I wanted to  send a message to all our families wishing you the best of health during these very strange and unusual times. I know my staff and myself are all looking forward to seeing all of the children back in school and I'm sure that so many will be eager to return to see their friends and return to a learning environment that keeps their minds and thoughts engaged. 

I know the teachers have been really pleased with the response to the work they set for the children on the website. This seems to have worked really well with some children sending pictures of their work through the emails we shared with you. After the holidays the daily tasks will resume so please look out for these.

This year I have created the weekly spelling lists and I am currently putting together the Summer 1 lists. I will be putting these on the class pages at some point during next week. In school, the children have enjoyed learning the themed lists and at home, parents can search for the words so that the children get some context to the spellings they are learning.

Remember to keep reading and logging on to Rock Stars but most of all try and spend some fantastic family time together - especially through this Easter holiday. I hope the children are all being supportive and helpful at home. Fingers crossed we will be back to school soon. As soon as I find out any information, I will share it with you all so please keep an eye out on the website and for text messages.
