Safeguarding - Online safety

Discord Chatroom

We have been made aware that some of our children are using this chatroom facility via Google Play; as the name states it is a chatroom where the age restriction is 13 years and above. Some of the children are speaking to individuals that they don't know which makes them vulnerable. Can we please dissuade the children from using it please.

Can parents/carers please be vigilant in monitoring their children's use of all social media. We have again received an alert regarding this platform.  

We have received notification of an extremely distressing suicide video that is being aired on several popular social media platforms but secreted within what appears to be child friendly videos. Please be vigilant when your children are using social media.
We have received a notification to advise parent/carers of the following: Please be aware of 'Rick & Morty' that is available on You Tube. Although it presents as a cartoon it is made for adult viewing and is not suitable for children due to its' adult themed content.

Please be aware of the following Apps:

X ROBLOX There is a risk of stranger danger and adult content through the online message availability.

 

* YOTI Verified by the National Crime agency as legitimate. This app allows users to delete any unwanted images from the internet.
