This half term in Year 1 Computing, we will be exploring Digital Painting. Children will learn how to use technology creatively to make digital art and express their ideas.
We will be learning to:
Explore digital painting tools on a computer or tablet
Select different brushes, colours and shapes to create images
Use fill tools, stamps and shapes to enhance our designs
Compare digital painting to traditional painting techniques
Save and share our digital artwork safely
Using a mouse, touchscreen or stylus with accuracy
Choosing tools for a specific effect
Combining different shapes, colours and textures
Evaluating our own and others’ digital work
Understanding how to save and retrieve work
You can help your child by:
