KS1 and 2 Our Maths is delivered using the White Rose https://whiteroseeducation.com/ scheme of work. We have developed an approach that teaches a different area of Maths each day of the week. E.G Mondays – Number; Tuesdays – calculation; Wednesdays – Fractions, Decimals, Percentages; Thursday – Measures inc Shape. This keeps the various areas of learning ‘alive’ for the children but also helps them to see and make the links between areas of maths. We also deliver BIG MATHS through weekly focus tests for both number/calculation questions and shape and measure questions. |
