School Admissions Help Drop-ins

Walsall parents and carers are invited to attend a drop-in session with Walsall Council school admissions team to receive help with completing their online primary school application.

If your child is starting reception or is due to transfer from and infant to junior school in September 2026, you must apply online by 15 January 2026. School admissions | Walsall Council

Children born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 are due to start reception in September 2026.

Children born between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019 are due to transfer from infant to junior school in September 2026. If your child attends an infant school, you will need to apply to join the partner junior school.

Parents/carers can visit the following drop-in sessions to meet a member of the team, who will be able to assist with their application:
